 
Jason Harrison, M.D., was born and raised in New Mexico. He
attended the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine and
graduated Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). He is now proud to call Texas
home since moving here in 1999. He came to Dallas to do his
internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center. He
completed his training in 2004 and was awarded Outstanding Chief of
the Year.
Dr. Harrison is Board Certified by the American
Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Society for
Bariatric Surgery. He performs both Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass and
Lap-Band for surgical weight loss. He stresses the Laparoscopic
approach in his general surgery practice as well.
Both Dr. Harrison and his wife live in Mansfield,
Texas and enjoy wake boarding and water skiing as well as other
outdoor activities. Prior to medical school Dr. Harrison was
nationally ranked in the multi-sport triathlon and has continued to
run to this day. He enjoys seeing his patients being able to become
more and more physically fit as they lose weight and regularly
participates in fun runs with them.
